The association is inviting the public to attend Galaxy Forum Hawaii 2015 from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the MCO Building, 67-1185 Mamalahoa Highway, in Waimea.

The keynote speaker of the free event, titled “Astronomy from the Moon and Hawaii: Cultural Perspectives,” is Kimo Keli‘i Ka‘aha‘aina Pihana, Hawaii kapuna and cultural practitioner.Pihana also serves on the ILOA board of directors.
